On Wednesday mornings, I meet at 7 am with a group of business owners who are focused on doing good work and helping to make the world a little better. We talk about success and failure and struggles and faith and all sorts of stuff. I just want to say that life and business would be so much more challenging without the ideas and support of this group. Thank you!
I received an email chain letter from a friend today and since I have a general policy of not forwarding chain letters, I will not be sending it to 8 of my friends. But before I delete this letter, I want to capture some important thoughts. The letter was titled “Untimely Death” and noted several examples of people who mocked God and paid dearly for it. Well, I don’t know how this stuff works, but I do believe that there is a God and I don’t think it’s a good idea to be challenging the almighty. The fellow who said “Not even God can sink the Titanic” was asking for trouble.
Anyway, as we all know, no person alive can prove that God does or does not exist. That’s where faith comes in and with faith comes peace and so many other good things. So, in conclusion, I think it’s a great idea to spread love and goodness whenever possible and I’ll continue to do my best to be a good example to my family and to my community. I won’t mock or challenge God. Sure, I make plenty of mistakes and I have some bad habits, but I’ll keep trying to improve. Until then, I hope that more people are exposed to the simplicity and peace that comes through faith in God especially in these trying times.
That’s all for now.
